I haven't used many apps to design before, but among all of those I've used for, Adobe illustrator is one of the best apps. I tend to design simple stuff like logos and some cute cartoons that do not require much shadowing and details. And Illustrator suits me perfectly for its tools are not for detailed drawings. Here are some works I did with illustrator.

As you can see they're all simple lining and don't require many details. One of the features I like very much about this app is that I can add texts on curve lines. I still remember my first time using Illustrator is to design a logo for the T-shirt. Not knowing the existence of this feature got me frustrated. I had to place the letters one by one to form a curve. At that time, my sister who is studying fine art saw me struggling to use the app. She taught me about this feature that saved me a lot of time! Besides, illustrator doesn't have that many buttons. In my opinion, it is quite easy to learn when comparing to Photoshop. Everything comes with pros and cons. And what's not good about Illustrator is that its hard to draw lines without an electric drawing board. It is common for people to use the drawing tool in illustrator. However, as a student who doesn't have much money for a graphic tablet. I sometimes find it quite difficult to draw on the app despite this is one of the main features of it. I guess I would buy a tablet for drawing in the future to solve this problem. In general, illustrator is an easy app to use. Starters will not have to struggle for too long before getting used to it which is fantastic. Also, there are convenient and impressive features for design as well. It would be perfect if there's a tablet.
